1. How long does it take to develop a product from start to finish?
The timeline can vary depending on complexity, but a typical product development timeline is 7–12 months. Factors like sourcing unique fabrics, multiple sample rounds, or overseas manufacturing can extend this timeframe.

3. What’s included in your rates?
Our rates include anything related to product development, such as design, tech packs, sampling, materials sourcing and development, negotiations, order placement, production management, logistics management, and delivery. What’s not covered in our rates are the costs of development (such as samples or set-up fees), and production, which are paid directly to the factory. We help you establish a direct relationship with suppliers and factories so you can build positive credit for your brand. Also not included are materials costs, shipping costs, or any other fees. We work closely with you to inform you of all expected costs so you can be prepared at every step of the way.

4. Should I manufacture domestically or overseas?
It depends on your goals, and we will dive into your long term vision for your brand to figure out the best strategy for you. Domestic manufacturing often has lower minimum order quantities (MOQs) and faster shipping times but higher costs. Overseas production offers lower costs and access to specialized materials but comes with higher MOQs and longer lead times.

5. What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ), and how is it determined?
MOQ is the minimum number of units a manufacturer requires to produce an item. Factors include material sourcing, production costs, and factory capabilities. Domestic MOQs can start as low as 50–100 units, while overseas MOQs typically range from 300–1,000+. We do not determine MOQs, these are determined by each factory partner. We work with you to understand your goals and product needs, and recommend the best factory for you.

6. Are your Factory Partners certified?
Yes, all the factories we work with are certified and uphold high standards of ethical and sustainable practices. We prioritize transparency and ensure our partners meet key certifications, such as WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), Oeko-Tex Standard 100, SEDEX, SMETA, among others, to guarantee fair wages, safe working conditions, and responsible environmental practices.
We do not own the factories we work with, but we have established long-standing partnerships with proven results, so you can trust our recommendations. We also conduct due diligence through factory audits and maintain strong relationships with our manufacturing partners to ensure consistent quality and compliance. We have personally visited each factory within our network within the last 2 years.
