FAQ - Manufacturing and MOQs

We understand that choosing the right manufacturing partner is one of the most critical decisions for your fashion brand. That's why we’ve cultivated a network of reliable, ethical, and experienced manufacturers to bring your designs to life.

Our Manufacturing Network

Our global network of manufacturers is carefully vetted to ensure the highest standards in quality, transparency, and ethical practices. Many of the factories in our network carry industry-leading certifications, including:

  • GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard): Ensures the use of organic materials and environmentally responsible production.

  • Fair Trade Certification: Verifies that workers are paid fairly and operate in safe, respectful working conditions.

  • ISO Certifications: Guarantees adherence to international standards for quality and safety.

Transparency is at the heart of what we do. We collaborate only with partners who share our commitment to responsible production, ensuring that your garments align with your brand’s values and meet consumer expectations for ethical fashion.

Understanding Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs): Overseas vs. Domestic Manufacturing

One of the key factors in deciding where to manufacture your garments is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) required by the factory. MOQs vary greatly depending on whether you opt for domestic or overseas production, and understanding these differences can help you make the best decision for your brand.

Domestic Manufacturing: 100pcs/style, 50pcs/color

  • Lower MOQs: Domestic manufacturers often accommodate smaller production runs, making them ideal for emerging brands or limited-edition collections. Our domestic factories start at

  • Faster Turnaround: Working locally often reduces lead times, allowing for quicker production and easier communication.

  • Higher Costs: While MOQs may be lower, the per-unit cost is generally higher compared to overseas production.

Overseas Manufacturing: 300pcs/Style, 200pcs/Color

  • Higher MOQs: Overseas factories typically require larger orders to make production cost-effective. Some of our factory partners can accommodate MOQs as low as 200/style, others may require 1000pcs/Style or more. We have factories in India, China, Vietnam, Mexico, Colombia, Portugal, Sri Lanka, and Italy.

  • Cost Efficiency: Despite the higher MOQs, overseas production usually offers lower per-unit costs.

  • Longer Lead Times: Working across time zones and managing international logistics can increase production timelines.

We guide you in weighing these options based on your brand’s goals, budget, and production needs. Whether you’re producing locally for greater flexibility or overseas for scalability, we’ll connect you with the right partners and help you navigate the complexities of manufacturing.
